Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's day was quite eventful this year. Went on a date with my handsome hubby. Had a gift card to Asiago and after waiting in line at the door the hostess informed us that the almost empty restaurant was reserved for those who had reservations that night. Nice.

We had our hearts set on somewhere downtown and we were feeling adventurous so we tried PF Changs...hour and a half wait. This is at five o'clock on a Saturday...crazy! So we tried Bonefish Grill...twenty minutes...we could stomach that. Then Justy and Marc rolled in minutes later by surprise. They tried PF Changs and were disgusted with the wait too. Great minds think alike.

We enjoyed a great dinner at Bonefish Grill with Justy and her fiance Marc (wedding is in 5 weeks!) followed by a trip to the grocery store. Aaron and I LOVE going to the grocery store without our babies!! Simplest things in life. Aaron's mom and dad kept the kids overnight so it was nice to not have to worry about getting back early. Even better...Winco is pretty dang quiet at nine o'clock on a Saturday:)

The next morning Aaron and I put together a Valentine's Day breakfast for Aaron's parents, Uncle DJ, Lexi and our kids.

Chloe lives for applying "liss gloss." We go through chapstick in our house like we go through milk. One because Chloe and Aaron can't get enough of it and two because Cooper tries eating it when no one is looking.

Yes I let Cooper have mini m&m's for breakfast. He was loving it.

Our sweet niece Lexi Jo. She is getting so big and is an amazing cousin to Chloe and Cooper. She got down and played with Chloe and made her feel special. She loved on Cooper whenever he was feeling left out. She is great kid. Wish she lived closer (lives in Washington).

Here is our decked out Valentine table. Too fun.
